Our school is excited to continue its collaboration with the NET Section of the Education Bureau in the Thinking Routines Hub for a third consecutive year, focusing on our Secondary 2 cohort. Recently, we conducted a co-teaching session as part of our professional development program, facilitated by project coordinator Ms. Hannah Standring and our dedicated NET teacher, Mrs. Wendy Shongwe.
During this session, Secondary 2 students delved into the pressing issue of endangered animals, engaging in thoughtful discussions about the associated problems, underlying causes, and potential solutions. They employed the thinking routine "Generate, Sort, Connect, Elaborate," which fostered critical thinking and collaborative learning.
This experience proved exceptionally beneficial for our students, enhancing their analytical skills and encouraging them to approach complex topics with a structured mindset
